In today's episode I continue my interview with Kristyn B. Kristyn tells us about her most recent birth with her daughter Bronte and goes in depth into how she has worked through the healing process of her traumatic birth with her first daughter Georgia.

Episode 007 - Megan

In this episode I interview Megan about her birth with her daughter. We speak about how Megan's unplanned caesarean section caused her trauma and how she grieved for the loss of her ideal birth. Megan shares how her birth experience is leading her towards homebirth for her next child.

Episode 006 - Shahnti

In this episode I interview Shahnti, a young mum living in Byron Bay, NSW, Australia. We talk about Shahnti's 3 pregnancies, her 2 baby boys and how she felt forced into an unwanted abortion with her first pregnancy at 16 years old.

I really enjoyed speaking with Shahnti, her story has many parallels to my own and it was therapeutic to speak with someone who had walked a similar path to me. I hope you enjoy it too.

In this episode I interview Beth. Beth talks about her pregnancy with her daughter Maggie and how she was made to feel ashamed and fearful for her pregnancy due to her weight.

Leigh is a midwife currently practicing in New Zealand. In this episode Leigh shares some of her experiences working as a midwife in both Australia and New Zealand and sheds some light on the differences between midwifery care in both countries.
